BPSC Education TeamBPSC Exam Expert & Content Editor
All postsMost aspirants do not fail because of low intelligence; they fail because of avoidable mistakes. Check yourself against this list.
- Starting without the syllabus. Always read the official notification first.
- Too many books and sources. One standard book per subject is enough – see our list.
- Ignoring Bihar GK. Use Bihar special notes from the first month.
- Skipping previous year papers. PYQs show what the exam really asks.
- No revision plan. Revise every topic at least three times.
- Weak maths and reasoning. Practise 45 minutes daily from the start.
- Reading current affairs without notes. Write five lines a day.
- Not taking mock tests. Test weekly with quizzes and practice papers.
- Studying in long irregular bursts. A fixed daily routine beats marathon sessions.
- Ignoring health and sleep. A tired mind forgets what it reads.
Fix it in one week
Pick any three mistakes you recognise, write a fix for each and follow it for seven days. Small corrections compound quickly.
