About BPSC TRE
The Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE) selects teachers for Bihar government schools. The exam usually has separate papers for the level you apply for – primary, upper primary, secondary or senior secondary – and combines subject knowledge with teaching aptitude. Read the official notification carefully for the eligibility, subjects and marking scheme of the current recruitment.
What to prepare
- Your subject: the main portion of the paper – prepare it at the level of the class you wish to teach.
- Child development and pedagogy: learning theories, inclusive education, assessment and classroom management.
- Language: Hindi and English grammar, comprehension and vocabulary.
- General knowledge: Bihar and India GK, current affairs and basic reasoning.
Preparation plan
- List the topics of the official syllabus and mark your weak areas.
- Finish the subject first, then add pedagogy and language every day.
- Solve TRE PYQs to understand the question style.
- Take quizzes and practice papers every week.
Use our General Studies, Hindi and Maths & Reasoning notes for the common sections.
Always confirm exam dates, vacancies, age limits and syllabus on the official BPSC website (bpsc.bihar.gov.in). We keep this page updated, but the commission's notification is final.
